Crow Wing County Land Service

Crow Wing County Land Services Meeting Rooms #1 and #2 are independent rooms that can be used simultaneously but can also be joined together to act as one single large room if needed.

Each room is outfitted with the same technology elements – a projector and corresponding projection screen provides a large format display and a series of in-ceiling speakers provide sound reinforcement for the connected computer or tablets.

Each room also has a dedicated computer that helps facilitate running video conferencing sessions and connected to these computers in each room is a pair of PTZ cameras (one in the rear for use in presentation mode, and one in the front for video conferencing mode) and a pair of in-ceiling beam-forming microphone arrays for crystal-clear capturing of audience sound.

Each room also has a 10” Crestron touch panel to ensure simple room configuration and operation – this touch panel also provides the user to select whether the room(s) are being used individually or merged together into a ‘combined’ mode. When merged, the system intelligently routes the necessary camera feeds and merges the microphone audio into one single instance, allowing for hundreds of people to participate in a single ‘all hands on deck’ meeting, if desired.

Occupancy sensors were installed to automatically turn the system off when the room is vacant after a certain period of time, reducing excess wear and tear and energy consumption.
