The Lakeside Family Haven was built and designed by Wes Hanson Builders. A full suite of technology elements was deployed in this home, all integrated into the Control4 system to ensure simple operation. 

Televisions throughout the home and their corresponding audio systems were connected to a “video distribution system,” allowing for A/V devices such as AppleTVs, satellite receivers, and Blu-ray players to be called up and routed to the TV’s on an on-demand basis. Speakers throughout the home have the ability to playback a myriad of online music sources, such as Pandora, Spotify, and more. 

Surveillance cameras provide visual protection and a home security system provides building and occupant safety and wellness verification. Extensive security sensors were placed throughout the home for detailed monitoring of smoke and water, a necessity requested by the homeowner due previous incidents in other homes.

A dedicated theater room with fiber-optic starlit ceiling provides an escape from reality while the bowling alley provides a gathering spot for the family to express themselves competitively. 

A custom video wall in the Bar allows for a single game to be watched on the combined 92” image or to watch four separate games on each of the individual 46” displays. 

Lastly, a custom “HD Golf” golf simulator provides a realistic golf experience, great for when normal golfing isn’t an option.

Through numerous Control4 interfaces – such as hand-held remotes, wireless touch panels, and a phone/tablet app – family and guests have access to this simple to use system from anywhere inside or outside the home.
